Game of Thrones season 6 episode 5, The Door had a tragic ending where Hodor sacrificed his life to protect Bran Stark and Meera Reed. We also came to know the origin of his name Hodor. Take a look at our take on what actually happened with Hodor in The Door episode. Naturally fans were shocked after watching the sad ending and the phrase Hold the Door was discussed a lot on social media and we got to see lot of Game of Thrones memes about Hold the door. Game of Thrones show creators were also aware about the impact that the episode had on the fans and they even apologised for what the fans were going to do after the episode and they were absolutely right!
French YouTube channel Les Inachevés has uploaded a video in which we see a man standing at the door of a metro station and shouting “Hold the Door“, while the metro arrives. Once the metro halts and the doors open, the person still stands at the door while blocking it and also prevents people from getting in or out of the metro. A man eventually loses his patience and finally pushes the guy away from the door. Take a look at the video below.
