Game of Thrones bags two wins at the Global TV Demand Awards
Game of Thrones has won many awards during its entire run of eight seasons. Now despite ending its run last year, it continues to make waves at awards. The show has managed to win big at recently concluded 2nd Global TV Demand Awards. Read on!
As per the Variety report, Game of Thrones managed to win two major awards at Parrot Analytics’ 2nd Global TV Demand Awards. The show has won the awards in Most In-Demand TV Series in the World and Most In-Demand Drama Series categories.
Before anyone begins to outrage, there are justifiable reasons why the final season of Thrones managed to win big. Parrot Analytics takes into account not only video viewing but viewer engagement across multiple platforms: Social media, peer-to-peer protocols, photo sharing, blogging, and research platforms.
We all can agree that when it comes to dissecting/discussing any show, no other series comes even close to Thrones. The final season was discussed for all year round in 2019 and if we go by the trend, it is not going to stop anytime soon.
Other notable winners at the awards were Stranger Things, The Big Bang Theory, Disney’s The Mandalorian and Peaky Blinders.
