Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey's salary revealed by her ex-husband
Game of Thrones is one of the most watched TV shows, ever, and as you would expect, its stars get paid a lot. Now, Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, has had her salary figure revealed by her ex-husband, in a court proceeding regarding custody of their son.
As some of you might already be knowing, Heady shares the custody of her 6-year-old son Wylie with her husband, Peter Loughran. According to a report published byE! News, Loughran asked Heady to pay $40,000 in his attorney’s fees, citing that he cannot afford to pay them himself. He went on to state that Headey earns an “estimated more than $1 million per episode”.
We had previously reported about a salary bump for five of the actors from Game of Thrones, which includedPeter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen)and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). Their pay was bumped up to $1.1 million per episode.
Loughran also said that Headey has paid $20,000 in a similar situation before, and that she should do it again because of her high income. He further said :
“I was a hairstylist before marriage. Lena urged me to quit my job and travel with her on her work as an actress and take care of our minor son.
Lena has a very large income from Game of Thrones and other film projects. I have very little money and do not receive support. I cannot afford to pay my attorney, and require [Headey] pay those fees and costs in order to have equal footing in this matter.”
Well, the Lannisters always repay their debts! What do you think? Tell us in the comments, below!
