Season 6 of Game of Thrones had a lot of excitement for us, with some pretty amazing events, and new characters. However, among everything that happened in Season 6, the introduction of Lyanna Mormont still has to be the best thing, hands down. The young yet fierce house leader, not only stole the show, but brought the character, ‘meme recognition’, where she now resides alongside the likes of Chuck Norris. Bella Ramsey, the actress who played Lyanna on the show, talked about her character, and more, in an interview with Yahoo!
Talking about the differences between Lyanna, and herself, Bella said :
“She is a strong, firm female. She doesn’t dither about wondering whether to do this or that, go here or there. She gets the facts, weighs them up and makes her decisions from there. Whereas I’m a ditherer — I take about 10 minutes deciding whether to have salt-and-vinegar or prawn-cocktail chips!”
Apparently, the number 62 had become quite a joke on the set. Bella explained :
“Every time I had to say ’62’ with a completely straight face, I cracked up. Other than that, the scene was really good [to film]. I didn’t know what to expect, but the actors were all so welcoming and lovely. I remember that Kit liked my Doc Martens.”
Bella Ramsey talked about a few more things, like how Iwan Rheon was fun to work with, and more. You can watch the rest of the interview, here.
