Fans stunned after Team Black suffers a shocking loss at Battle at Rook’s Rest
Dragons vs dragons is never a good idea.
House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 4 was goosebump-inducing from start to end. Every scene imbued the essence of the story, from grave deaths to troubling visions. Aemond and Vhagar kill Rhaenys and Meleys
When the Blacks learn of Criston Cole’s strategy to claim Rook’s Rest, Rhaenys volunteers to meet Cole and defeat him.
In another surprising turn of events, we see Aegon and Sunfyre reach the battlefield. While Melys and Sunfyre fight it out, Vhagar is commanded by Aemond to wait for an opportune time. This is where the one eyed prince proves his mettle and attacks fiercely.
After the dust settles, Melys and Rhaenys feel safe to return for another attack. However, lurking in the shadows is Aemond with Vhagar who swiftly attack and chomp down on Melys’s neck. The look of finality between Melys and Rhaenys is heartbreaking. Ultimately, the Blacks lose not one but two of their biggest assets to the Battle of Rook’s Rest.

We didn’t see Rhaenys’ body on screen in this episode, but it’s safe to assume she died from the fall, and fans are very emotional about the two deaths.
