Season 2 of House of the Dragon has now premiered! Prequel to Game of Thrones, the show is set before the events of the show. Season 1 set up the conflict between the two factions of the Targaryen dynasty, the Blacks and the Greens. Dance of the Dragons’ second season saw the start of the civil war, and viewers got exactly what they were hoping for.

Despite veering away slightly from George R. R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon Season 2 debuted on a high note. While IMDb rated the first episode of the second season 9.8, Rotten Tomatoes‘ critics’ score stands at 87%, whereas their audience score is currently at 89%.
