Fan theory talks about Daenerys Targaryen's fate
Game of Thrones is at an interesting point right now, and only a few characters are driving the story at the moment. One of the most important characters on the show is Daenerys Targaryen, and she seems to be inching closer to the Iron Throne, but not without her share of setbacks. We have been seeing her trying to take the less ugly route to the throne and ending up losing allies, and now she is doing it the bad guy way. Going forth, we are all concerned about what exactly will happen to her, and a new fan theory now talks about what her fate could be. Read on!
The theory comes from a fan named sephelutison Reddit, and it talks about how Daenerys will fulfill the last part of the vision she had in the House of the Undying. Check it out, below :
“She wanted to stay with Drogo and her unborn son, but a young dragon’s cry pulled her away, when she leave the tent she suddently end up at the wall.
Conquest was never her purpose, there is a Young dragon out there in grave danger, he must live, and only she can save him, her true purpose has been this all along.”
In case you don’t remember, this happened back in Season 2. Daenerys goes to the House of the Undying, in order to find her missing dragons. While in there, she has a vision showing her her dead husband, Khal Drogo with their unborn son, whom she was going to name Rhaego. However, instead of staying with them, she leaves to answer the cries of her baby Dragons. The theory says that this was foreshadowing for how things will go for Daenerys, with the little dragon signifying Jon Snow, who is actually a Targaryen, that Daenerys will put her cause at risk to save Jon.
Now as we now, Jon is all set to go beyond the Wall, and we all know how he always find himself in trouble, so it looks like Daenerys might need to go help him out, fulfilling the vision, or it could mean that Daenerys sacrifices her chase for the Throne, to help Jon Snow defeat the White Walkers, on the whole. What do you think will happen? Will this vision come true? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
