George R. R. Martin is still doing amazing things, even after Game of Thrones is over. George isn’t just working on The Winds of Winter as we all have been waiting for it to come out. Martin is working on turning his Wild Cards universe into a Marvel comic series in addition to contributing to the development of the HBO spinoff series House of the Dragon and other spinoffs. It’s intriguing to understand how the mind of such a genius works, and his notes might just be a clue to that.

The original outline George R.R. Martin wrote for ‘A Feast for Crows’

The actual handwritten material of George R. R. Martin is very hard to find given his private lifestyle. However, things do pop up from time to time that might excite fans of Game of Thrones. Recently, a redditor named zionius_ managed to procure a 3-page outline Martin made for A Feast for Crows from Arnold Cha, founder of the George RR Martin Rarities FB group.

What does the original outline of A Feast of Crows detail?

Though the final product that we got is quite different from the given outline, as the book went through a number of edits, it gives a hint to all the ideas Martin has while writing an excerpt. You can recognize a number of familiar incidents we have seen on Game of Thrones – Brienne and Hound fight, Tyrion captured by Ser Jorah, Siege of Meereen etc. But there are also others that haven’t happened so far, and Martin might use them in The Winds of Winter in the future.
