Fan-made YouTube video compiles last words of every Game of Thrones character
Game of Thrones is a massive fandom, with fans going to all lengths to make sure that they stay connected to the fandom, while the show is on hiatus. Now, we know how memes and forum discussions are the milder ways to pass your time before the next season drops, some fans choose to spend their time writing fan-fiction and making YouTube videos. The latest YouTube video is a rather interesting one; it compiles the last words of every character to have ever died in Game of Thrones.
Valar Morghulis : one of the most important lines from the series, and one of the most quoted ones. It translates to “All men must die,” and the show does not take this lightly. The show has literally chopped off the heads of characters we thought were important, and over time we have learnt how not to get attached. YouTuber HoodynEdge decided to compile the deaths in the show, however from a different angle : the last words. Check the video out, below :
Now, when we say every character on the show, we don’t mean it literally. Being a tedious job as that would have been, HoodynEdge did skip some important deaths, including Loras Tyrell and Shae. However, other than those and a few more, most of the important deaths have been covered, and if you want to look back on the six seasons of Game of Thrones, looking at the deaths, with the last words, wouldn’t be the worst way to do it.
Game of Thrones will return with Season 7, and more deaths, in summer. In the meantime, all we can do is theorize about who will make it to the end, or at least the beginning of Season 8. We know one, to begin with.
