Every interview of a pair of House of the Dragon cast member ends up getting hundreds of thousands of views, if not millions. Fans find the cast endearing and love their on-screen and off-screen chemistry. Olivia Cooke who plays Queen Alicent Hightower was paired up with Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen’s actor, Emma D’Arcy, for the show’s promotional appearances, and it was a riot. One of the pair’s videos became a TikTok trend when HBO Max uploaded a clip of their youtube video. The TikTok video sits at over 14 million views, with more than 20,000 videos using their audio shared on the platform. Here’s the clip.

One of the reasons people couldn’t stop watching this is because of their delivery. It is the perfect material for anyone to use as a TikTok audio and turn into humor. We can not overlook Emma D’Arcy’s voice either. One of the comments reads, “Emma could read the back of a shampoo bottle to me and I’d melt.” Honestly, we are right there with them. The way D’Arcy specifies their favorite cocktail, “A negroni, sbagliato, with prosecco in it” is music to our ears. Olivia Cooke’s “stunnin'” is the cherry on top. She even posted a story on her Instagram featuring Emma today referencing the trend they created.

I feel so embarrassed,” Emma told The New York Times. “Because in those interviews, when we’ve been at it for six hours, I’m honestly only trying to make Olivia [Cooke] laugh.” Little did they know that they would be making the audience laugh along with them. It’s not just one interview though. All of their interviews are riddled with almost nonstop banter and it’s absolutely hilarious how they bounce off of each other.
