Emilia Clarke bids Game of Thrones goodbye

Game of Thrones seems to be inching into the final days of filming really quickly. Season 8 has been filming for a while, and while lately many of the stars have revealed one by one that they are done filming for the show, there are a few that still have some filming left. One of the key stars of the show, Emilia Clarke, who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen, has now bid the show goodbye. Read on!
Now, a few days earlier, a fan had spotted Emilia around Titanic Studios, which is where bulk of the Game of Thrones filming occurs. The fan tweeted out a picture which was taken from a distance. Check it out, below:
I walked past @emiliaclarke on my way to work this morning. Wanted to say hello but it’s the feckin’ mother of dragons ffs! This is my attempt of a photo of her hahaha #daenerystargaryen #itsreallyher pic.twitter.com/oOsjwWGzQF

Now, at the time she was probably finishing up her final parts of filming, because today she put up a heartfelt post on Instagram, saying goodbye to Belfast, and Game of Thrones. Check it out:
Well, looks like this is it, people. Emilia’s heartfelt farewell was matched by some of her co-stars, in the comments section, too. Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) said:
“Love u. Proud of you”
Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, also commented, saying:
“Sweet words. Love you and HOLY balls. #tistheend ????“
John Bradley, who plays Samwell Tarly, also left a comment:
“It’s been the best. Ever. And you’ve been incredible.”
Other notable commenters included Steve Aoki, among others.
Well, this makes it sort of official. This is the end. We’re sure some filming is still left, and we expect it to wind up soon. Either way, goodbyes like these are set to arrive from more stars, and we suggest you brace yourselves, for #tistheend, after all.
How do you guys feel about the show finally coming to an end after what has been a long, fun ride? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
