Eddie Hall gets a tattoo of Hafthor Bjornsson (The Mountain) after losing the World’s Heaviest Boxing bout

When it comes to sheer strength (excluding superpowers, of course), very few fictional characters come close to Game of Thrones’ Ser Gregor Clegane, The Mountain. The actor who portrayed the role, Hafthor Bjornsson, is equally as humongous and terrifying in real life. Thor recently defeated his long-time strongman rival Eddie Hall in the World’s Heaviest Boxing match, which the latter accepted gracefully. Furthermore, he made good on losing the wager he made with Björnsson before their boxing match.

Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall had promised each other that the loser of their boxing bout would get a tattoo of the winner’s name with the World’s Strongest Man moniker. Since Eddie lost, it was his turn to pay up his debt, which he did in true sportsman spirit. He recently posted a video on Youtube showing off his freshly-etched tattoo which reads, “World’s Strongest Man Hafthor Julius Bjornsson”.

Man of my word!!! Taking A Loss Like A Man!!!

The tattoo was applied to the inner side of Hall’s left foot. Hall also shared the video in an Instagram post as well where addressed the other agreements/bets/wagers he made regarding the fight, including donating $200,000 to a charity of Björnsson’s choice and paying a $10,000 personal bet to Larry Wheels.

This is the kind of true sportsmanship that makes the world of sports enjoyable and honorable. Hopefully, we will get to see a rematch between the two giants, where Eddie gets his wish of fighting The Mountain once more, because let’s face it, there are not many people on earth who can take on Bjornsson in a ring.
