Brad Pitt made an unsuccessful bid of $120,000 to watch Game of Thrones with Emilia Clarke
Game of Thrones is the best show ever, and Emilia Clarke is the hottest Queen in all the seven kingdoms. Given all that, how far would you go to watch an episode of the show with the Khaleesi herself? Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt recently made a bit for exactly that, and sadly enough, he didn’t win. Read on!
Variety reported about Sean Penn’s annual fundraiser gala for Haiti. One of the items up for bid was a chance to watch an episode of Game of Thrones with Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the show. Brad Pitt, one of the biggest presences of the evening, bid $120,000, but lost to another who bid $160,000.
Brad Pitt had a bid of $80,000 before, which he outbid by making another at $90,000. That’s when the auctioneer upped the game by shouting out, “Is the King of the North here?!” Kit Harington (Jon Snow) had just walked out at that point of time, but he agreed to be a part of the viewing on returning.
This made Brad make a generous bid of $120,000. However he was then outbid by a margin of $40,000. We don’t know who won the prize, but whoever it is, is a rich lucky bloke.
Emilia Clarke also outbid Leonardo DiCaprio for a painting by Josh Smith, so it’s safe to say she stole the evening. What do you think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
