Interview
Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger) still keeps “a lot of secrets” from his Game of Thrones days
Game of Thrones affected the lives of many people, including fans, cast members, and crew members, in a variety of ways. For fans, it was an escape from reality; they often cared more about the characters than they did about real-life people. For the actors and crew, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that garnered them enormous fame and money. The show’s star Aidan Gillen, who played Petyr Baelish (Littlefinger), still keeps its secrets close to his heart.
What Aiden Gillen misses about Game of Thrones
Gillen’s Petyr Baelish was someone Game of Thrones fans loved to hate. Talking to CinemaBlend in a recent interview, the veteran actor recalled, “It was like doing a small, intimate job, you know what I mean, with people. And you got to know people, really good actors, very well. So I miss that aspect of it. I’m happy that they let me really help create the character.”
Aidan Gillen has kept a lot of Game of Thrones secrets to himself
He went on to reveal there were still some secrets of the show that he keeps to himself, “You know, every TV producer wouldn’t do that. Let you have as much control and say over a look, how you sound, how you act, how you do everything. But I’ve always been a believer in just creating tiny, tiny moments. And at the end of, you know, a hundred of them, people will have an idea of what you’re about, maybe. And I’ve kept a lot of secrets still.”
