Arya Stark might have hinted at the return of a Game of Thrones character | Wiki of Thrones
SPOILER WARNING! Game of Thrones season 6 episode 3: Oathbreaker was an important episode for Arya Stark. In the episode, Arya resumed her training inside the House of Black and White and after training hard, Arya finally managed to turn the tables on the Waif who had been beating the pulp out of her since the start of the season. Finally Jaqen H’ghar restored her eyesight when he was sure that Arya was “no one” now.
However, before her eyesight was restored, Arya made a confession which might be a foreshadowing for the return of an awesome Game of Thrones character who supposedly died during Game of Thrones season 4 finale.
While the Waif was questioning Arya, she gave some interesting answers:
Waif: “Tell me about the Hound”
Arya: “Also dead. Arya Stark left him to die. He was on her list. He was not on her list anymore. She taken him off it.”
Waif: “Why? Didn’t she want him dead any longer?”
Arya: “She did and she did not.”
Waif: “She sounds confused.”
Arya: “Yes. She was.”
Now it’s pretty interesting to see that so much importance is given to a long forgotten and a supposedly dead character. Further when she was asked about the other people on her list, she named Gregor Clegane and Cersei Lannister. It is important to note that in the Oathbreaker episode, Cersei mentioned about the Trial by Combat while talking with Jaime Lannister. It certainly seems that we are going to see the much hyped Cleganebowl!
In the show we did not see the Hound dying and there are good chances that he is still alive. The Gravedigger theory hints that the Hound survived and is now working as a gravedigger at the monastery on the Quiet Isle. So if it’s actually the Hound, when the time for the Trial by Combat arrives, Ser Gregor will be Cersei’s champion and Sandor “The Hound” Clegane will be the Faith’s champion.
