Fan recreates iconic Game of Thrones scenes using Google Deep Mind AI
Recently, the film industry faced significant strikes organized by SAG-AFTRA, primarily due to concerns over the use of AI and the treatment of young writers in Hollywood. Although apprehensions about AI persist, there is a gradual acceptance of its use, with industry veterans such as Ben Affleck expressing support. And he might’ve been right in doing so, as a fan recreated scenes from Game of Thrones with impeccable quality.
Glimpses of Game of Thrones using AI’s lens
Fans have been playing around with the idea of recreating their favorite shows using AI. However, the results are not always great, and one even led George R. R. Martin to sue someone who tried to write The Winds of Winter using AI. One X user, Ammaar Reshi, managed to prompt Google Deep Mind to reproduce scenes from the show, and they really don’t look that bad. Hopefully, it will get Martin’s approval!
