House of the Dragon’s Rhys Ifans (Otto) to star in upcoming comedy “Mother, Couch”
One of the best aspects of the Game of Thrones television series has always been its character casting. Even the creator of the GOTverse, George R. R. Martin, is in awe of them. House of the Dragon is closely following the example set by its predecessor, especially with the addition of numerous renowned performers to the cast in Season 2. The show’s star Rhys Ifans, who has already played notable roles in films like The Amazing Spider-Man, will now be appearing in a new comedy-drama.

The first image for the film “Mother, Couch” was recently released and stars McGregor and Ifans in lead roles. The film, directed by Niclas Larsson, is based on the Swedish novel Mamma I Soffa and follows three siblings as they try to persuade their mother to leave a furniture store’s green couch. It’s regarded as “comical and existentially challenging.”
