The House of The Dragon cast reunites at the FYC special screening in Los Angeles

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon season 2 is currently in the pre-production phase. HBO’s fantasy epic is one of the top contenders at this year’s Emmy Awards, eyeing multiple nominations in various categories. The cast and the crew of the show recently reunited in Los Angeles at a for your consideration (FYC) screening of the Game of Thrones prequel series.

Who among the House of The Dragon cast members were present at the FYC screening?

The event that was held at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles was attended by Olivia Cooke (adult Queen Alicent Hightower), Emily Carey (young Queen Alicent Hightower), Matt Smith (Prince Daemon Targaryen), Rhys Ifans (Ser Otto Hightower), Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon), Paddy Considine (King Viserys Targaryen) author/creator George R. R. Martin, Eve Best (Princess Rhaenys Targaryen), Fabien Frankel (Ser Criston Cole), series showrunner Ryan Condal and moderator Josh Gad.

They interacted with the press and the fans and answered several questions about the upcoming second season.

When will House of The Dragon return?

The filming of House of The Dragon season 2 is currently in pre-production, with the casting currently in progress. HBO chief Casey Bloys has confirmed in an indirect way that House of The Dragon won’t be coming back before the summer of 2024.
