House of The Dragon episode 3 preview leers into broken hearts, shattered bones, and dragonfyre

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is the most hyped show of 2022. So far it has checked out all the parameters that were placed before its premiere. The first two episodes, which were leaked just before their airdate, have been well-received by fans and critics alike. We are already looking forward to watching the third episode, and the promo that was released by HBO right after the second episode is a precursor to everything violent that is going to happen next.

It seems the third episode will have another time skip, just like the second one. A few months into Viserys and Alicent’s marriage, they are ready to welcome their first son, Aegon II. This obviously further strains the relationship between Viserys and Rhaenyra, and of course Rhaenyra and Alicent. Otto Hightower’s plans are already in motion, as he knows the realm will now favor Aegon II over Rhaenyra.

On the other hand, things get much, much worse at The Stepstones. At the end of Episode 2, we see Corlys Velaryon asking for Daemon’s help with the situation brewing in the islands, and Daemon agrees. The promo shows the battle is getting out of the duos’ hands, as Craghas Drahar, called Craghas Crabfeeder, has the support of three free cities along with the added support of Dorne. Daemon gets injured during the battle, and Caraxes is nowhere to be seen. Out of nowhere, a mystery rider along with his dragon appears to save the day.
