Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is on everyone’s lips right now, after the recent announcement of the release date by HBO. The series is slated for a release in August, and fans are really hyped up about it. Avid readers of George R. R. Martin’s works are looking forward to seeing some of their favourite characters from the novel Fire and Blood, as the show is based on an infamous incident from its storyline. Glynn-Carney recently talked to Wonderland Magazine about his role in House of The Dragon. He said, “It’s definitely one of the darker roles I’ve played. It’s a very, very complex character. One minute we love him, then the next we hate him, but I’m really enjoying that sort of back and forth aspect of the role. It’s a tricky thing to play, but it’s rewarding in so many ways.”

Without giving away any spoilers, we can say Aegon II Targaryen is one of the most intriguing characters in the Dance of the Dragons arc. He has been used as a puppet all his life, but that doesn’t justify some of the actions he takes throughout the course of the series.
