Jóhannes Jóhannesson (Lemoncloak) compares working on Game of Thrones and Vikings: Valhalla
Some of the best TV shows today are either historical shows or fantasy shows that have some roots in history. Some of the most famous examples are Game of Thrones and the Vikings. While Game of Thrones is getting a prequel on HBO Max, The Vikings has been forwarded to Netflix for a new spinoff series, and one of the Game of Thrones actors is playing a key role in it. Jóhannes Jóhannesson, who played Lem Lemoncloak on Thrones, a member of the Brotherhood Without Banner from Season 6, is will be seen as Olaf Haraldsson on Vikings: Valhalla, and things are looking good for him.
Here’s the official trailer for Vikings: Valhalla:
In a recent interview with The Digital Fix, Jóhannesson compared the two famous sets he has been on. He said, “Both productions are very well-oiled machines. I was in season 6 of Game of Thrones, and you sort of step into this machinery. The scale, the amount of equipment, and things being produced. It was all in place and functioning so beautifully. And it was the same with Vikings: Valhalla.”

“We had the luxury of the old crew (from Vikings), the production team, so it was the same feeling of knowing these people have been doing this for years,” Jóhannesson said.
