Sophie Turner discusses her final Game of Thrones scene as Sansa Stark
Game of Thrones deleted scenes and special feature types are flying all over the Internet, now that HBO has released the full series disc sets of the show. We have been reporting about many of these, and this one involves Sophie Turner discuss her final scene on the show as Sansa Stark. Read on!
The video was posted to Twitter, and it shows Sophie, dressed as Sansa, discuss her final scene on the show. Take a gander:

Sophie said:
“I think it was just so overwhelming, and I kind of kept reading and re-reading, and I felt a bit numb afterwards because I never thought I would be reading the final scene.”
Now, knowing Game of Thrones, there was always a risk that a major character could just drop dead, and Sophie feared this for Sansa as well. However, as we now know, she made it to the end, and she did really well. Speaking of that, Sophie said:
“It’s very gratifying. It’s great that she ends up being Queen in the North, and I think it’s the place where she really feels like she belongs. And I think it’s a really just, happy, good ending for her, which I was never expecting.”
Well, we know that was one character ending that we absolutely loved. What about you guys? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
Game of Thrones deleted scenes have been pouring out on the internet, now that the full series disc sets are here. We have reported about a couple of them, including one that showed Daenerys get the northern hate. The one we have today, comes from IGN, and it shows a death scene that was skipped from the episode, likely because the character isn’t considered that important. Read on!
Now, the character we’re talking about here is Alys Karstark, and the episode in question is Season 8, Episode 3, “The Long Night”. This deleted scene shows Alys meet her end while trying to protect Bran Stark in the Godswood. Check it out:
Well, it looks like Theon Greyjoy wasn’t the only guy that lost his life trying to look out for Bran Stark, and Alys deserves at least some credit for being one of the many to buy enough time for Arya Stark to swoop in and save the day.
This could’ve easily been kept in the episode. I mean, it’s game of Thrones, and it’s the most important big battle of the show. Surely one more death couldn’t have hurt.

Game of Thrones series disc sets are here, and we have seen deleted scenes from the show flood the internet as a result of that. Among these, was one showed Daenerys and Jon walk through Winterfell. Read on!
This scene fits into the timeline at the point when Winterfell is preparing for the battle. Jon and Daenerys take a walk through, looking at the preparations, and Daenerys gets some hateful looks from the Northeners. Check it out:

This actually would have fit well in the preparation sequence, and added to the overall unwelcomeness that we saw Daenerys get in the north in Season 8. It wasn’t necessary though, and probably why it was left out. We also saw Daenerys’ unsullied stop for her, but we didn’t really need to be reminded of their loyalty, making the scene even less required.
That being said, they could have just left it in. Not like we would complain about too much of Game of Thrones, right?

Game of Thrones series disc sets are here, and we have a lot of behind the scenes interviews and commentaries, and some of them are great. However, one particular bit might have spoiled a little detail about the ending of the book series by George R. R. Martin. Read on!
Entertainment Weekly published a report teasing the special features on the new Blu-ray and DVD sets that HBO has released, and it had several great bits, but hidden among them was one, just casually mentioned, which actually serves as a giant spoiler for GRRM’s ending. Spoiler alert!
Like we had reported, the behind the scenes special includes Peter Dinklage discussing why Tyrion chose Bran to be the King. Attached to it, was this:
“The showrunners confirm Bran being named king of Westeros is author George R.R. Martin’s planned ending for his books.”
There you have it. Bran Stark will be the ruler of Westeros in the books, just like he was in the series. Now we know that his books will differ in the journey to this ending p, and will be worth that, but this little bit might annoy some fans that have been disgruntled that their favourites didn’t make it to the Throne.
So, what do you guys think? Would you like to see this ending? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
