Game of Thrones actress Rosabell Sellers (Tyene Sand) auditions to play Death in Netflix’s Sandman
It has been almost a year since Game of Thrones ended its glorious run. It is never easy to remember all the details of a show which lasted a decade. But we trust the fans of epic saga to remember each and every critical detail of the show. In a series comprising of many memorable moments, many characters emerged and left their mark on the show. The credit has to go to the actors who no matter the size of their role made their mark.
The role of Tyene Sand was a similar one. The role although small was played with aplomb by actor Rosabell Sellers. Now she has the chance to be part of something similarly cool and we are very excited for her.
As per Epicstream, Sellers has auditioned for the role of ‘Death’ in Sandman. It is an upcoming Netflix series that is still in a very early stage, based on the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman. The casting is yet to be done and auditions are in full flow. In a video that recently surfaced, Sellers was reading the lines of the character of Death speaking to ‘dream’. Unfortunately, that video clip is now private on Vimeo but it can be confirmed that lines were directly taken from the comic on which the show will be based upon.
The character of Death was introduced in 1989 in the eighth edition of the comic The Sandman. Created by Neil Gaiman and Mike Dringenberg, the character became hugely popular with youngsters. In fact, the dressing sense of the character inspired many fashion senses during the time.
Coming back to the Thrones, Sellers’ character, as the fans of HBO Blockbuster would remember, played a pivotal role in the murder of Myrcella Baratheon. Although her character itself faced a brutal fate in the hands of Cersei Lannister, it was not before she had done a lot of damage.
Well, we are quite excited for Sellers and hope she gets the part. The popularity of her potential role can be gauged from the fact that Death has been spun out already into the two solo series Death: The High Cost of Living and Death: The Time of Your Life.
As of now, very little is known about the project except that Netflix plans to base each season on one volume of the book. With everything at a halt at the moment due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we will have to wait a bit longer for more details.

When you are recognized for your hard work and dedication, it’s like a dream come true. Zack Snyder is known as one of the most hard-working directors of Hollywood. DC fans have long awaited the release of his cut of the superhero movie Justice League. After years of waiting, it is finally happening. One of the trailers for the movie feature Game of Thrones’ Jason Momoa, who shines brilliantly. Watch the trailer below!
The trailer opens with the original introduction of Arthur Curry in Justice League just after his first encounter with Bruce Wayne. Bruce was already assembling the Justice League in preparation for the arrival of Steppenwolf. The bit was prominently-used in the marketing for the movie’s theatrical version, but for some reason, it was re-shot. The video also uses footage from Aquaman, including Arthur’s reclamation for the Trident of Neptune, which Vulko urges him to claim in the narration. In Justice League, however, he’s used a different pike, Jason Momoa called it ‘a quindent‘ which was loaned from Mera.
DC fans are hopeful and believe the Snyder’s cut is much better than the theatrical mess. The Snyder Cut will be streamed on March 18 on HBO Max. Are you excited about the director’s cut? Tell us in the comments below!
Game of Thrones featured some of the most iconic warriors in television history. Among the great warriors of the show, there was one who was feared by all, The Mountain. The Mountain was played by the strongman Hafthor Bjornsson, who impressed the fans with his frightening demeanour.
Bjornsson took official retirement from the world of competitive powerlifting last year. He cemented a legacy in the sport which included 10 consecutive wins at Iceland’s Strongest Man event. Since then, he has lost 110 pounds in the last seven years. He is pivoting his training to focus on boxing as he prepares for his long-awaited fight with rival Eddie Hall.
The workout consists of just three exercises like kettlebell swings, sandbag throws, and deadlifts. In 2020, Bjornsson broke the world record for heaviest deadlift after pulling 501 kgs (1,104 pounds). Bjornsson’s new deadlift routine is 5 sets of 3 reps at 225 kgs (496 pounds), but in the video, by Men’s Health he puts on a belt to see how much further he can push himself. Bjornsson incrementally adds more weight until he’s pulling more than he initially predicted: 360 kgs (794 pounds).
Bjornsson is stepping forward to face his long time rival Eddie Hall in the World’s Heaviest Boxing Match in Los Vegas on September 2021. Are you excited about the fight? Tell us in the comments below!

Clearly excited to join forces with her former co-star, Nathalie tweeted: ‘Aaayyyeeee the crewdem reunites!’
Both actors were among the few to make it all the way to the final season of Game of Thrones until Missandei was brutally decapitated in front of her lover in a death that struck a nerve with the fandom. As one of the only non-white characters throughout the series, when her grisly end arrived, many viewers criticised the writers for ending her journey.
The former Hollyoaks star told Vogue.co.uk she would often talk to Jacob about representation in the series.
“We were always really conscious of how much our being part of Game of Thrones mattered to people. It made us really protective of Missandei and Grey Worm,” she said.
The show will be airing on Sunday, February 28. Those willing to take part will be able to ask a question to the Game of Throne icons. If you get a chance to ask a question what would your query be? Tell us in the comment below!
