24% of British people know Game of Thrones better than the birth of Jesus
Game of Thrones is the biggest TV show on the face of the planet, but before it made its way into this world, the Bible held the title of the greatest story ever told. Now, however, it seems like Game of Thrones is contesting for popularity, at least in Britain. A interesting new study now says that 24% of British people know Game of Thrones better than they know the birth of Jesus. Read on!
The study, conducted by EMP, the entertainment merchandise maker, found a lot of interesting insights by comparing Game of Thrones to real life situations, reports Digital Spy. In addition to the aforementioned figure, the study also revealed that 28% of British people care more about who sits on the Iron Throne at the end of Game of Thrones, than who will be the next Queen of England.
On the other hand, 56% of Brits would rather watch an episode of Game of Thrones, rather than listen to Queen Elizabeth II deliver her annual Christmas speech, and this is in consideration of the fact that 50% of Brits haven’t even heard of the show!
So it looks like Game of Thrones is really popular in Britain. What do you think? Tell us a few real life things you would rather replace with something related to Game of Thrones, down below in the comments!
