A rumor suggests Naomi Watts will star in Game of Thrones prequel

The ‘World of Ice and Fire’ is a whole new wild universe created by George RR Martin – a huge portion of which still remains unexplored. If you don’t believe me, take a look at the known world’s map created by George – Sothoryos, Ulthos, and many more places never heard of!
Probably there’s much time to learn about them, especially with the “Unseen Westeros Exhibition” happening in January 2019 in Berlin. The final season of Game of Thrones will be coming in the first half of 2019 and a popular opinion suggests the prequel might start filming the next year as well.
Latest update on the prequel under development is that the British actress Naomi Watts – as rumored by recapped.com has been cast for it. As published on the website:
“Rumor is Naomi Watts has been cast in the Game of Thrones prequel series. No idea who Naomi is playing and there are no plot details available. The only thing we know is they want British actors for all of the roles or actors with a perfect British accent. The pilot is set to shoot early next year so we should be getting some cast announcements soon.”
You may know Naomi Watts for portraying the role of Ann Darrow in the movie King Kong (2005) or Maria in the Impossible (2012). If the rumor of the prequel titled ‘Empire of Ash’ is to be believed, we would love to watch her play a noble lady of House Targaryen from Valyria – from the times before the rise of ‘Aegon the Conqueror’.
