‘The Witcher’ boss reveals House of the Dragon director’s “special” way of working with the extras
Season 2 of House of the Dragon is now under production, having finished in Spain and relocated to Wales. The crew and the cast, including Emma D’Arcy, have reportedly arrived in North Wales to continue filming at several massive sets already being constructed at various locations in the countryside. Recently a peculiar detail about a House of the Dragon director has come to light.
Director Loni Peristere’s special way of filming
The Witcher boss Lauren Schmidt Hissrich told Digital Spy in a recent interview, “Loni Peristere [one Director] has little index cards that he hands out to every single background actor, and they have: ‘Here’s your name. Here’s why you’re here. Here’s your special skill. You’re a drunk. You like wine. You like to dance.’ Whatever it is – so that they can own their own story. That’s the detail that’s going into this.”
