Twitter erupts in Game of Thrones jokes as cryptocurrency takes a dip in Crypto Winter

In today’s digital world, everything is electronic, from shopping to payment. The trend of cryptocurrency has taken the world by storm in the past decade, and has created quite a many rags to riches stories. But cryptocurrency is a highly volatile market, and as many experts predicted, it took a dip in its value last month. The internet labeled it as the “Crypto Winter”, sparking several Game of Thrones jokes, specifically quotes mentioning “Winter is Coming”.
Here are some of the reactions from Twitter:
*#Crypto Winter is Here
*??This reminded me of the story about Joseph P. Kennedy (#JFK’s father) who promptly liquidated his stock holdings—narrowly missing the stock market crash of 1929—after receiving financial tips from a man shining his shoes

Just a Thought:
This Crypto winter is going to be like the Game of Thrones winter (which is around 3 years). More importantly, tribes will fall, factions will restructure, and there will be a lot of bloodshed. pic.twitter.com/nqUBIorkhl— Fan Yang (@CoinPowR) November 28, 2018
