The Last of Us Season 2 might’ve found its Abby

According to insider news via LA magazine’s Jeff Sneider, The Last of Us has reportedly cast Dopesick’s Kaitlyn Dever in the role of Abby Anderson. Dever gained recognition for her role in the FX crime drama television series Justified.

What role does Abby play in The Last of Us?

Spoiler Alert: Abby from The Last of Us Part II may be viewed as the antagonist or the protagonist, depending on your perspective. She is a part of the militant gang that formed after Joel’s horrific rampage destroyed the Fireflies. Her father, the doctor Joel killed, was the last person on earth who could have developed a cure for the cordyceps infection. Abby only wants to find Joel and bring about justice.
