Take a look at the first trailer of Sophie Turner starrer X-Men: Dark Phoenix
The first official trailer of Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner starrer X-Men: Dark Phoenix is out and the fans have already started losing it! It is yet another of Sophie’s major projects where she is playing the main protagonist. Produced by Marvel Comics the Dark Phoenix is the next installment to the ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ which too starred Sophie in the role of Jean Grey.
In the X-Men series, Jean Grey is a mutant who initially fears from using her powers of telekinesis and telepathy. The last we saw of her in the series was when her mentor Xavier encouraged her to unleash her powers in order to kill En Sabah Nur. But, the teaser which was released earlier on twitter suggested that the movie will align with The Last Stand’s version of the story. We can also hear some dialogues in the teaser that hints at this:
“What did you do?”
“I protected her.”
“From the truth.”
Apart from Sophie, other cast members including Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, and others will reprise their roles. And, Jessica Chastain is all set to portray a mysterious villain. Taking the news of the reveal of the Dark Phoenix to her Instagram account, Turner added a small tease with the caption:
“Dark Phoenix. Tonight on@latelateshowwith@j_corden@xmenmovies#darkphoenixSee you there.”
The movie is all set to be released on February 14, 2019. We guess until we don’t get to see the first episode of the Final Season of Game of Thrones, Sophie’s role in X-Men will definitely be something to look forward to. Without much wait, let’s take a look at the first official trailer of X-Men: Dark Phoenix released at the Late Late Show today here:
