Game of Thrones Season 8 is going to premiere in 6 weeks and to make sure fans stay excited for the upcoming season, HBO recently teamed up with Twitter and released 20 new Game Of Thrones hashtag emojis and character posters, which also featured Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark in the show and soon enough the trailer for Dark Phoenix was also released, in which Sophie Turner returns as Jean Grey.

2019 is turning out to be a wonderful year for Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and fans are really excited to see how Sophie deals with the White Walkers in April during the final season of Game of Thrones and in June what happens when her character, Jean is hit by a mysterious cosmic force that unleashes the Dark Phoenix.

Considering that Sophie is a part of 2 hugely popular fandoms, it’s natural for fans to come up with mashups that bring together the Game of Thrones and X-Men universe. Reddit user Mizuri has comeup with a brilliant mashup that uses the recently released Sansa Stark poster to bring Jean Grey to Westeros.

[NO SPOILERS] Hi all! After the release of the new posters for the final season, I played around and mashed together two of Sophie Turner’s characters (Dark Phoenix and Sansa) hope you like it! from gameofthrones

“Hi all! After the release of the new posters for the final season, I played around and mashed together two of Sophie Turner’s characters (Dark Phoenix and Sansa) hope you like it!,” said Mizuri while sharing the mashup on Reddit. The fan-art was loved by fans and at the time of writing this article, it has received 9.7k upvotes. We would love to see what Sophie has to say about this mashup.

Game of Thrones returns on 14th April, while Dark Phoenix releases on 7th June.

Game of Thrones dropped its much-awaited official trailer on Tuesday with a number of easter eggs, teasing a bloodier, and jaw-dropping Season 8. The trailer featured almost all main characters of the series along with the Golden Company who are new to the series. Then, while I was watching the trailer again, I noticed that we didn’t see the Greyjoys at all.

This is one of the many questions that come to the mind, especially when we saw Theon Greyjoy in the last season undergoing a redemption and setting out to save his sister in the last season. While we probably saw a glimpse of their usurper uncle Euron Greyjoy along with Harry Strickland – the leader of the Golden Company in the King’s Landing Courtroom, Theon and Yara completely went on missing from the trailer.

Yet, in our in-depth analysis we acknowledged two different set of Greyjoy fleets with different Kraken-painted sails. For this we’re are cent per cent sure that the three ships down below featured in the trailer are from the fleet of Yara Greyjoy and that we will surely see Theon trying to save Yara in the new season.

Recently enough, Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) and Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek) were also featured in the freshly released cover images from Season 8 by Entertainment Weekly. Yet, there wasn’t any sign of Yara Greyjoy. Does this mean…?

Before we dive deep into the speculation territory we get a new update from the actress who plays the role (Gemma Whelan) that she couldn’t appear in the photo-shoots as she was pre-occu11pied with her infant. She told this to a fan via Twitter who felt sad not seeing her in any of the promotional photos. She replied:

Aah you’re kind to worry…but fear not! ? having a baby and filming schedule clashes meant I couldn’t make the photo shoots…;) I’m gutted not to be on them! Can’t wait for you to see the final season! I can’t wait to see it!!!

Gemma’s reply to a fan thus, confirms that she’s surely returning in the final season of Game of Thrones. And, we pray to the Drowned Gods that Theon, who is on an expedition to rescue his sister, reaches his destination – before it’s too late!

Game of Thrones Season 8 airs in less than 40 days on April 14 and we can’t stop thinking about it since the official trailer dropped. What about you? Tell us in the comments how excited do you feel?

Game of Thrones fulfilled its promise on Tuesday giving us a full-length official trailer for the new season and now all we can do is wait for over a month for it to get to our television sets. While the official trailer gave us an insight of the intense battle scenes and how bloodier this season is gonna be, it also had several easter eggs to look forward to like the Greyjoys being absent, and much more. In this article, we share with you something about Ser Jorah Mormont we just noticed in the trailer.

We already have done an in-depth analysis of the trailer but since the trailer is still giving us chills, we’re watching the trailer over and over again. While this trailer showed us Ser Jorah Mormont– the Dragon Queen Daenerys Targaryen’s most loyal trustee and friend in two of the scenes, we noticed a new weapon upgrade on him. And, it came in the form of a new Valyrian Steel sword we’ve seen twice in the show. This isn’t the ancestral sword of House Mormont that currently lies in possession of Jon ‘Aegon’ Targaryen, but of House Tarly that Samwell Tarly was denied by his father Randall Tarly. Yes, we’re talking about Heartsbane here.

While fans had long-speculated after Season 6 that Sam’s father will come after him in Season 7 to get back the family sword, all we got to see was him getting barbequed by Drogon in episode 5. Yet the friendship developed between Sam and Jorah in the last season could be the reason we see Jorah wielding the sword in Season 8.

This will be confirmed when we finally see Jorah arrive with his Khaleesi and party at Winterfell in episode 1 of Season 8 on April 14 and him meeting Sam. For now, all we can do is think about Ser Jorah shattering a couple of White Walkers with it.

It’s been close to 2 years since Game Of Thrones season 7 got over and now it’s time to rejoice as the final season is releasing soon and now HBO has released the trailer for season 8 and it is simply spectacular! The last 2 days have been simply amazing for the fans of the show as we got to see new posters for the characters which was followed by cover photos being shared by EW and now we finally have the trailer and I am literally shaking after watching it.

The trailer starts with an injured and scared Arya Stark who is running around the hallways in Winterfell. Is she running from the White Walkers?!! We then see Lord Varys and others hiding in the crypts beneath Winterfell, while Arya and others are fighting above.

The trailer further shows Euron bringing the Golden Company to Westeros and we get to see Tormund and Beric Dondarrion who have survived the  Night King’s attack on the Wall. We then see more characters and then we get a better look at Jon and Daenerys arriving at Winterfell with the Dothraki, Unsullied and the Dragons.

The trailer then gives us a glimpse of the battle at Winterfell after the White Walkers finally arrive. Watching this trailer has given me goosebumps. Without wasting any time, take a look at the Game Of Thrones Season 8 trailer below:
