Sophie Turner pulled a Sansa Stark on a fan defending Littlefinger on Twitter
Game of Thrones Season 7 was quite a ride, but it confirmed one thing that we had begun to be uncertain about : Sansa Stark is a badass. We saw her collude with her siblings to deliver the long awaited dagger of god to Littlefinger, who had quite a satisfying snuffing in the Season 7 finale, ‘The Dragon and the Wolf‘. Now, you would think every fan loved seeing him die, but apparently some didn’t. Sophie Turner, who plays the role of Sansa Stark on the show, recently shut down one such fan who was defending Littlefinger on Twitter. Read on!
We know that Sophie is quite the badass in real life as her character on-screen is (now), but she recently stepped it up a notch. Two fans were arguing about the Littlefinger death plot, and Sophie joined in. Here’s how it went :
Is this what you’ve interpreted from that heartbreaking scene where a broken man confessed his feelings?!!! Everyin knows it was fan service

The fan continued to defend Littlefinger :
He wanted justice on the society for his humiliation, they looked down on him out of his poor background. He never hurt sansa.

.. and then Sophie jumped in :
Nah.. just willingly sold her to the Boltons…. Who killed her family… who ended up torturing her…. but ur right.. no harm done ?

The fan did have a clever retort :
Reminder:Petyr Baelish gave back Winterfell to the Starks. He killed Joffrey. He saved Sansa and Jon. He won the battle of bastartds #GoTS7

..but like Sansa herself, Sophie had the last laugh :
Because Sansa asked him to (and agreed because he loves her)…. because he owed her…. for selling her to the boltons…. need I say more?
