Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon recently finished its Season 1 quite successfully. According to HBO chief Casey Bloys so far it is the only Game of Thrones spinoff that has been greenlit officially. However, he didn’t deny the fact that there were other projects at work, stemming from the GOTverse or the Martinverse, whichever way you prefer to call it. HBO has already renewed House of The Dragon for a second season and very soon will be releasing a DVD of the first season that will also include an hour long of bonus features, and never-before-seen footage.

One of these deleted scenes was teased by showrunner Ryan Condal at the first ever official Game of Thrones convention currently going on in Los Angeles. The clip showed a scrapped sequence from episode 10 of House of The Dragon with a brief conversation between Baela and her grandmother, Rhaenys Targaryen.

In the short video, we see Rhaenys being concerned for the safety of her granddaughter and asking her to hide away at High Tide. Baela refuses and bravely replies, “If war is coming it’s coming for all of us, we cannot hide from it. I am a dragonrider like my mother, and father, and you! If the greens reached to usurp our queen’s throne, then they must be answered with fire and blood.”
