Game of Thrones wrapped up its last season more than two years ago, however, it is still one of those shows that are still talked about to this day. The cultural impact it left was huge, there’s barely anyone on this planet who hasn’t heard of the fantasy epic. Several quotes from the show get referenced in all walks of life, from political speeches, to sporting rivals taunting each other or just about any comparison with the show’s characters. Peter Dinklage’s Tyrion Lannister had a plethora of some of the wisest quotes of any characters in the series, and there’s a reason why so many of his dialogues have gone viral.

During a chat with BBC’s Ali Plumb, Dinklage reflected on several of his catchphrases delivered as Tyrion Lannister. According to Peter Dinklage, here’s the line he has been thrown the most, “‘I drink and I know things,’ yeah, c’mon. Yeah, I don’t get out much anymore, but if I want a free drink, I guess I just go to the pub.”

There were plenty of other lines he has heard a lot, like “Death is boring,” “A mind needs books,” and of course, “A Lannister always pays his debts”. Dinklage appreciates the love he gets from his fans and said, “I get a lot coming at me. You gotta understand, but it’s 9/10 it’s done with love and affection, sometimes far too much affection than you want. You get a front row seat at human behavior for sure.”
