Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is hopeful about a Game of Thrones Reunion Special happening in near future

Game of Thrones was one of the biggest shows of the 21st century, and whether you loved the last season or hated it, there’s simply no denying the fact it left a deep impact on the impressionable minds of television viewers all over the world. Many of the show’s stars became household names, and they are playing important roles in other famous shows and movies, from the MCU, DCEU to Star Wars and Snowpiercer. Recently, we have witnessed a rise in trend amongst the cast of famous film franchises and TV shows coming together for one final episode, reminiscing their experience on the set. And it seems like Game of Thrones might just get one.

In a recent interview with Extra TV, Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau talked about the possibility of a Game of Thrones reunion. He revealed that there’s a Game of Thrones group text on WhatsApp. He added, “I stay in touch with some of the guys.” When asked if there could be a Game of Thrones reunion special in the future, Coster-Waldau answered, “I’m sure there will be.”

Coster-Waldau was also asked about the upcoming prequel House of The Dragon, to which he replied, “I really hope it will be good. I think it’s going to do well.”
