Game of Thrones stars have established themselves really well in the filming industry. Kit Harington and Richard Madden recently appeared in Marvel’s Eternals, and now Emilia Clarke will soon be joining them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Clarke is set to play a mysterious character in Marvel’s upcoming series Secret Invasion, and the first leaks from the set have recently surfaced on the internet.

The Secret Invasion set photos provided us with our first look at Game of Thrones vet Emilia Clarke’s mysterious character as well as our first glimpse at Ben Mendelsohn and Cobie Smulders’ respective returns as Talos and Maria Hill. In addition, Samuel L. Jackson was also seen donning a new bearded look for Nick Fury. It is still currently slated for a 2022 release.

Disney+’s Secret Invasion is set as a crossover comic event series showcasing a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. It will be led by MCU mainstay Samuel L. Jackson as he reprises his role as Nick Fury for the twelfth time in live-action since first portraying the character in 2008’s Iron Man. He will be teaming up with Captain Marvel‘s Ben Mendelsohn, who is returning as Talos, the pseudo-leader of the Skrulls. We’ve yet to see what kind of role Clarke will play in her Marvel debut.
