Leslie Jones wrote angry letters to showrunners over the delayed arrival of Game of Thrones Season 8
Game of Thrones Season 8 is a long way from here. We have known for a while that it will be airing in 2019, and in recent news, it has been confirmed, of sorts, that Season 8 will be back in the month of April 2019. Now, we know how long further away we’re from Season 8 exactly, and we’re quite mad about it, and apparently, so is Leslie Jones. She recently said she wrote angry letters to the Game of Thrones showrunners over this. Read on!
Now, we know that Saturday Night Live comedian Leslie Jones is a Game of Thrones fan. We have seen her get all excited before, while watching an episode of Game of Thrones in the Late Night with Seth Meyers segment, Game of Jones. We had even reported about it, and how Conleth Hill shows up mid screening, dressed as his character, Lord Varys.
In a recent bit with Seth Meyers again, she spoke about her impatience about the final season of Game of Thrones, and how she wrote angry letters to the showrunners about it. Check out the video, below (Skip to 1:40 for the part about Game of Thrones) :

She certainly did give a really good example of a tin foil theory there, so you know she’s one of the crazy fans like us.
