One of the more underwhelming entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ever-expanding roster, the Eternals, garnered mixed reviews from the critics but has been liked overall by the audience. The film featured two famous Game of Thrones stars, Kit Harington and Richard Madden, who played Dane Whitman and Ikaris respectively. However, it seems like Harington’s character might be done for good.

Kit Harington’s Black Knight won’t appear in Blade

Harington’s Dane Whitman aka the Black Knight was supposed to play a major role in Mahershala Ali’s Blade. However, at the Superhero Comic Con and Car Show, Harington said, “The honest answer is I think that’s the intention with the character. I think there was some misunderstanding about whether he was going to be in the ‘Blade’ movie. He was never meant to be in the ‘Blade’ movie and isn’t.”

In an earlier interview, Harington expressed his excitement to work with Ali, ” I knew the line that was being said, because it was said out loud and it was in the bit of script that I got. I only knew that was Mahershala’s voice just about three weeks ago. Chloé texted me saying that’s what they were doing. It really excited me, hearing that. He’s one of my favorite actors out there at the moment.”
