Jon Snow and Arya Stark reunite in the latest Game of Thrones Season 8 promo

HBO really held off on Game of Thrones Season 8 stuff from us for a long, long time. However, now that we are already in the premiere month, and merely two weeks away from the premiere, we’re getting too much too quickly. Just a few hours ago, we reported about a new Season 8 promo but looks like that wasn’t the only one for the day. HBO has released one more promo video, and it gives us a glimpse at a much-awaited reunion. Read on!
This promo is apparently meant for Amazon Prime subscribers who have an HBO subscription linked. Take a look at the promo video, below:
Speaking in terms of footage, there’s not a lot that’s brand new here. The promo, however, kicks off by showing us the much-anticipated reunion of Jon Snow and Arya Stark. We see them both standing at the Godswood in Winterfell, a place we started off seeing Ned and Catelyn together at, back in Season 1.
We see Jon in the same pensive mood that we had seen him in before, in the Season 8 trailer, when he was with Daenerys in the crypts of Winterfell. It’s safe to assume that this scene occurs after Jon has found out about his true parentage. It looks like Arya is there to help her cousin snap out of it.
We also see a scene where (possibly) Jon walks into a room where Daenerys is standing, likely in the same pensive mood as well. It’s hard to tell if it’s actually Jon, but it most probably is. This scene mirrors the Arya/Jon reunion scene quite nicely.
Other than this, and a couple of seconds that add to the footage we already saw in the trailer, most of this promo just reuses the trailer footage. Still, that reunion should hype up those fans that weren’t hyped enough already.
What do you guys think about this promo? Talk to us in the comments down below! Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres April 14.
