Game of Thrones has had a lot of pairings in its 8 seasons of run, but none as iconic as Khal Drogo, played by Jason Momoa, and Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke. What’s better is that the two are also great friends in real life, and it’s always a great time for them, and the rest of us, when they get together. Their latest reunion happened on the latest episode of The Graham Norton Show, and it was adorable as always. Read on!

The latest episode of The Graham Norton Show was packed with talent, including our favourite Thrones stars, as we had recently reported. Momoa is on a press tour to promote his upcoming Apple TV+ series See, while Emilia is doing the same for her upcoming film Last Christmas. Also on the show was Regina King, who is leading the new HBO series, Watchmen, comedian Ross Noble, and singer Camila Cabello. Cabello had a heavy fangirl moment with the pair, telling them how much she loved Game of Thrones:

In other segments of the episode, Momoa confirmed that Aquaman 2 is happening, and that the work has begun:

“We will be back – probably in a year from now. I was very excited about the reaction. We have a script, which we’ve pitched and I’m very passionate about it.”

Emilia talked about meeting Beyoncé and Jay-Z at their party, and not doing very well with the first impression. Watch the video clip below:

She explained:

“I did not expect to see them in the flesh. I wasn’t expecting that at all, I was just amazed to be invited. I was like, ‘How did that happen?’ When I met Queen Bey I was too many drinks in and started crying. It didn’t go well. I think she got out of there very quickly!”

She also talked about how her friends had a lack of interest in Thrones:

“It started with things like, ‘We can’t afford to stream ‘Game of Thrones’, we don’t have the money, sorry Emilia,’ then it was, ‘We’ll try and download it,’ then it was season 8 and I was having a screening of the last episode and they said, ‘So we’ve seven-and-three-quarter seasons to catch up before this Sunday!’”

Emilia also couldn’t control her laughter at a story Ross Noble was recounting:

Well, we can never get enough of Emilia and Jason. What about you guys? Talk to us in the comments, down below!

On asked about why the show became such a global cultural phenomenon, Maisie Williams gestured towards herself!

Sophie Turner on the other hand said:

“Fantastical elements that gave the escapism, the very human interaction and emotions” was what she believed was the perfect combination.

Kristofer Hivju a.k.a. Tormund Giantsbane on the show thought:

“It is so much that is unexpected, it doesn’t follow any rules of storytelling.” He also added the sheer amount of hard work that about 2000 people put in on the show had also something to do about making the show a giant success.

Jerome Flynn that played the character of Bronn on the show said:

“The richness of character that George originally created had so much wide array of emotions. The job the makers did of translating the characters from book to the screen and also the epic nature that HBO brought to the show”

Flynn believed are all part of the reasons why the show was such a massive success. Isaac Hempstead on the other hand believed:

“The attention to detail on the show was unparalleled. Literally, the books on the show were handwritten by the props department and you might only see it for 2 minutes..”

He also credited writer George R. R. Martin for creating such a vast universe through his books.

Wasn’t it nice to see the whole cast talking about the show so fondly? Let us know why you thought the show became such a big success?

Everybody loves the holiday season and so does the Games of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. She revealed how her mode of celebration varies according to the company:

“We celebrate every year at home in London. I’ll also meet up with my friends around Christmas time and we’ll get drunk together”

Clarke then added:

“But that’s a different kind of celebrating – that doesn’t happen with the family. My mother would never allow it.”

Well, wasn’t that a remarkable revelation from an actress who arguably played the most powerful character on the show! Emilia Clarke’s portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen A.K.A. Khaleesi on Game of Thrones received critical acclaim and lots of popularity all over.

What do you think about this revelation from our Khaleesi? Let us know in the comments below!

Games of Thrones changed the lives of many of its actors. In one case, it even turned a homeless man into a household name! There were others who literally grew up in front of us, Maisie Williams who played the role of Arya Stark, Sophie Turner who brought Sansa Stark to life and Issac Hempstead Wright who portrayed the role of Bran Stark.

The three youngest members of the cast recently spoke about the show to Complex. Read on!

Issac recalling the first day of the shoot said:

“I can remember my first day of shooting because it just rained non-stop and I was like, ‘I don’t think I can do this. What have I gotten myself into?”

Speaking about his character Bran Stark Issac said:

“I just think he has the most extraordinary story, as a disabled ten-year-old, in one of the most brutal universes ever created, who loses his home and his family… and yet, despite all of that, or maybe in fact because of it, he is able to remove himself and dedicate himself to the strange mystical power he has, and actually ends up becoming one of the most powerful characters there is.”

Sophie Turner may be one be the most famous faces on earth now but back when the show began, she was just trying to find her feet. Speaking about her character of Sansa Stark, she said:

“I think [Sansa] is not power-hungry, which automatically makes her a better leader than most people in Game of Thrones, because they get blinded by that power. I think she’s very diplomatic and fair, politically minded, honest, and she’s been through the worst and has come out of it on top.”

Sophie also regretted not being able to do too many stunts on the show:

“I would have loved to do proper stunts, because I never really got to work with the stunt team unless it was [when I was] getting beaten. They are an Emmy-award winning stunt team, and I never got to work with them!”

Maisie Williams portrayal of Arya Stark was arguably one of the most appreciated aspects of the show. She also spoke about the tale behind one of the best lines of the last season!

“You know [series writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss] stole that line from an interview I gave. I said Arya would never survive what Sansa survived, and Sansa would never have survived what Arya survived, and then [the characters] said the lines!”

Speaking about the final day of shooting the trio recalled being really emotional.

Issac said:

“I did [cry], I didn’t think I was going to,”

“It was really nostalgic, and very emotional… It was just a season of heartbreak. After so many years, it is impossible to say goodbye in the right way,”  Turner recalled.

“It’s impossible to be able to, one, feel all of that in one moment, and two, be able to thank anyone enough. We knew it was going to take a lot of time to set in. Still is.”

Williams added:

Wasn’t it fascinating to hear from three of the youngest but most important characters of the show. Which of these three stars did you like the most on the show? Let us know in the comments below!
