Jason Momoa reacts to Game of Thrones Season 8 finale and Daenerys' death
Game of Thrones ended this weekend after a decade long run, and it had many fans raging. One of the biggest characters of the show — Daenerys Targaryen, was killed in the last moment of her journey to the Iron Throne, and all the Dany fans hated it. Among these Dany fans was Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo. Read on!
In the series finale, Season 8 episode 6 — “The Iron Throne“, we got to see Daenerys at the beginning of her reign as the Mad Queen. Following her announcement to liberate all of the world, eventually, we saw Jon Snow decide that Daenerys needed to die, and in a moment of betrayal, as he was in her embrace, he stabbed her. Jason Momoa, who is a big supporter of Emilia Clarke, and Daenerys, had a reaction that summed up those of all Dany fans. He did it in an Instagram Live session:
Momoa said:
“F**k you! F**k you, punk!
Khaleesi, I love you. Emilia, I love you. So sorry I wasn’t there for you.”
Speaking of Jon being sent to the Wall, he said:
“Let me get this s**t straight. You’re going back to what the f**k you did in the first place and you killed Khaleesi. Oh my god… We’re gonna go to the bars and we’re gonna get in a fight.”
As far as Bran becoming King goes, Momoa had no enthusiasm:
“Who gives a f**k? Who gives a f**k?”
He also said a nice goodbye to the show:
“I wanna say thank you to David (Benioff) and Dan (Weiss) and the whole crew. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for David and Dan who made Drogo. I was very honoured to be part of the show and I can’t believe that it’s the last episode.”
