House of the Dragon Season 2 filming updates from Leavesden Studios and North Wales
Ever since the WGA strikes, HBO’s House of The Dragon, a prequel to Game of Thrones, has been one of the few shows to have remained unscathed. Production is moving forwards quite swiftly, and might finish in lesser time than season 1. We bring you the latest news from its current base of operations; WB’s Leavesden Studios in the UK, and the new sets being constructed in North Wales.
New sets at Leavesden Studios
Game of Thrones fans know that most of the filming for the franchise takes place at Leavesden, and it seems that production has progressed quite a bit. Quite recently, a few more pictures surfaced on the internet that showed a new set is being constructed at Leavesden Studios.
House of The Dragon crew arrives in North Wales
According to a recent report by the Redanian Intelligence website, the House of The Dragon crew has arrived in North Wales near the filming site and has begun to set up base. We can expect the cast to arrive very soon, and the filming of a major battle scene is expected to take place between mid-June to early July.
