House of the Dragon begins filming at an iconic beach in North Wales

Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is currently prepping up for its next leg of shooting in Wales. While most of the scenes are going to be shot in the comfort of WB’s Leavesden Studios in UK, there are some outdoor shots that need to be incorporated in the second season of the show. Reportedly, one of the locations includes a famous beach in North Wales.
House of the Dragon filming on the Isle of Anglesey
The House of the Dragon production crew will be filming at several locations across North Wales from June 12 to July 7. According to a recent report by the fan site House the Dragons, the crew is currently working on the Isle of Anglesey. The production is filming on the beach at Porth Y Cwch, Aberffraw. However, due to tight security, and a relatively isolated location, there were no leaked images this time.
