More than a year from now, and we haven’t heard from Game of Thrones for a long time. The biggest question of all – when will the final season of the series air? Though not a teaser or ice block melting stunts this time yet we got the very first hint at when will the final season be airing and it’s only five months away. Read on.
The big news here is that Game of Thrones released its airing month and it is April 2019 and I mentioned above, no big announcement was made like the last time when a big block of ice was melted to reveal the airing date. This was announced on the official YouTube channel of Game of Thrones via a video titled “#ForTheThrone”. Watch it for yourself here and watch it till the end.
It was only a week ago when we got the very first image from Season 8 as the cover image of Entertainment Weekly’s new edition and a hype-creating exclusive story which also had some info about the opening scene. Moreover, back in August we also got a glimpse of the new season in HBO’s one-and-a-half minute-long teaser for the shows coming in 2019.
This has got us pretty excited to watch the series finally air in 2019 and especially for a number of reunions happening in the first episode of the series. Also, there’s a big hope that we’ll soon be getting the official airing date and a trailer or two soon. How excited did this new update about the final season make you?
