Get a sneak peek at Elden Ring, a From Software game made with George R.R. Martin!
The fantastical world is a blissful escape from bleak reality. Humans have taken the help of myths and legends to gain temporary relief from day-to-day drudgery. At present, there are more realistic ways of living your fantasies, than simply imagining them. Shows like Game of Thrones have set the bar for the quality of fantasy TV shows. Another way of experiencing the mythical world is through video games. And a game made with the help of Game of Thrones’ creator George R. R. Martin; that’s even better!
From Software — the developer announced a new project: Elden Ring, a new game with a medieval flare. They are behind some of the famously difficult games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. George R.R. Martin worked with From Software director Hidetaka Miyazaki on this game. “Building the world of Elden Ring with Miyazaki-san and his team was a treat!” Martin said at the time. “The graphics, mythos, and action-RPG gameplay will deliver an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait for people to see what Elden Ring has in store for them.”
The game suffered delays due to the pandemic losses, but we might be getting a release date soon. Stay tuned for more news and leave your thoughts in the comments below!
Human activities have always posed a threat to the environment. We often tend to hurt the natural balance for our own benefits, whether it’s knowingly or otherwise. This delicate balance can be restored little by little through our collective efforts, no matter how small they are. It can be even as small as changing our vehicle. The fuel emissions caused by using petrol and diesel automobiles are not only dangerous for the environment, but they also cause serious health problems. Game of Thrones celebrities have always been conscious of environmental issues. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was last seen discussing climate-change with Ursula von der Leyen. Now, Kristofer Hivju has joined the cause by promoting Audi’s electric car, the E-Tron series.
Hivju is seen driving an E-Tron variant while singing praises for his country, Norway. Norway is a particular point of pride for Audi. According to Norway’s registration data, the E-Tron (SUV and Sportback) was the best-selling model in 2020, at 9,227 units—beating the Tesla Model 3. That’s more E-Trons than Audi sold in the U.S. in 2020 (7,202, according to Automotive News).
Looking at the current scenario, we can be assured that petrol and diesel vehicles will soon become a thing of the past. Soaring prices and low availability will force people into looking for renewable energy sources. These electric cars are going to be the wheels of tomorrow.

The world is like a sandbox where you draw out your lives. Each of these artworks represents a different story. These stories reflect various situations in life, from good times to bad. Drama films are often honest presentations of life situations that portray realistic characters in conflict with either themselves, others, or forces of nature. They reflect human beings at their best, their worst, and everything in-between. Julius Savic’s Indie Czech Drama ‘The Affair’ is one such story. The movie stars Hanna Alstorm and Carice van Houten (Melisandre from Game of Thrones). The Affair is finally making an appearance in the US on March 5.
Vertical Entertainment has released an official US trailer for an indie drama from Czechia titled The Affair. The film’s original release title is The Glass Room, and it first opened in theatres in Czechia in 2019, but it is only now getting an official US release. Set in the 1930s in Czechoslovakia before WWII, the film is indeed about an ‘affair’. Liesel Landauer (Alström) and her friend Hana (Houten) are linked by a lifelong relationship. The story revolves around an exceptional house built by the architect Von Abt for Liesel and her husband Bikto.
It seems like Carcie van Houten really moved on from her role of ‘Melisandre’ to more relatable roles. Do watch the movie and tell us how you like Houten’s role in the film!
