Game of Thrones trends on Twitter as fans get picky over best TV shows ever made

Game of Thrones was definitely the biggest TV show of the 21’st century. Very few shows come even close to the epic fantasy in terms of budget, cinematography, popularity, viewership, and the number of awards won. Game of Thrones still holds the record for the most number of Emmy Awards won to date.  No wonder it is still the hot topic of conversation over various social media platforms. Recently, Game of Thrones was trending on Twitter after a certain post was made by the website LADbible. And Game of Thrones fans didn’t shy away from showering their love for the fantasy epic.

A few days ago, LADbible tweeted out one of those “choose three of these things and the rest go away” posts – and this time fans had to select from their favorite TV shows. The Tweet quickly went viral, as the list included nine shows to choose from – The Sopranos, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, Ozark, Prison Break, Sons of Anarchy, and Breaking Bad. Quite surprisingly, even after a controversial final season, many fans came forward to save Game of Thrones from the list.

You can only save three of these shows.

Celebrity team-ups are always something to behold, and fans long for their favourite stars to share the screen together. It becomes even more special when it is the celebs’ own idea, proposing a dream project that satisfies both the actors and the audience. Recently, MCU and Army of The Dead star Dave Bautista pitched an idea for his own movie, and he wants to work with none other than Game of Thrones and Aquaman star Jason Momoa on the project.

The duo has worked together on the upcoming sci-fi adventure epic Dune and they really hit it off. Ahead of Dune’s release this October, Bautista just pitched a movie idea with Momoa to the internet, and it sounds like a really interesting project. He took to Twitter on Thursday morning to share an idea he has just casually thought up with his fans, and it garnered a lot of excitement. This is a completely out-of-thin-air idea from the Guardians of the Galaxy actor, but he sounds serious about it if the right people are reading.

Just going to throw this out into the atmosphere and see what happens. Here we go… Me and Momoa in a Lethal Weapon type buddy cop movie directed by David Leitch. Ok! There it is. Now we wait.?

Both of these actors are some of the finest action stars we have in the film industry currently, so we can see as to why not? With David Leitch on board, who is the filmmaker behind Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw, and Atomic Blonde, the fans can get an awesome shoot em’ up action flick that we never knew we needed.

Game of Thrones was an amazing and emotional journey for both the fans and the cast alike. There may have been hardships and long hours of work, which they had to execute with perfection, the cast and the crew always seemed to have fun they were on set. Some of the behind-the-screen photos that have leaked earlier showed how close the actors were to each other off-screen, and quite many of them maintain a great relationship with each other in real life. Some got so close, the on-screen sisters Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) couldn’t stop crying when the showrunners pranked them into believing the show was going to end quite early. Recently, Game of Thrones star Carice Van Houten (Melisandre) shared a throwback pic on Instagram missing her “Happiest of Days”. Her co-star Sophie Turner joined in the nostalgia and reshared the photo.

It seems Sophie Turner had a blast while working on Game of Thrones and she still isn’t over it. Reposting a throwback photo shared by her co-star Carice van Houten, both the stars deemed the GOT days as “The Happiest of Days.” The BTS image showed Turner along with Houten, Kit Harington, Kristofer Hivju, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham among others grinning wide.

While Game of Thrones may have ended in 2019, fans are still not over this epic series and it seems neither is the cast.
