Game of Thrones has had a stellar cast over the year, but being Game of Thrones, many a good cast members are now former cast members having had their characters meet their end in the series. One of our personal favorites was Ygritte, the wildling girl who had a line which ended up becoming one of the most famous ones, ever, from Game of Thrones : “You know nothing, Jon Snow.”
Ygritte was played by Rose Leslie, who has since her time on Game of Thrones, has moved on to other projects. Now, she seems to have landed a major role in a major spin-off series to The Good Wife, titled The Good Fight. Leslie will play Diane Lockhart‘s goddaughter Maia, who is a lawyer, and is openly gay.

As you can see, things get a bit steamy in the trailer.
While talking to E! Online, the executive producers, Robert and Michelle King, talked about Leslie’s casting :
“We’re thrilled to have Rose on board. We needed a young actress who could hold her own with Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo, and Rose is perfect. She’s real, she’s strong and she can play comedy. If we designed an actress from the ground up, we couldn’t have done better.”
The Good Fight will premiere on February 19, 2017, exclusively on CBS All Access. Are you planning on watching the series for Rose Leslie alone? Tell us in the comments, below!
