Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams stars in the trailer for the new Netflix movie iBoy

Game of Thrones has had a spectacular cast over the years, with sone renown actors adding the show as a major achievement on their résumés, while others were made into big stars by the show. One of our favorites, Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on the show, is now all set to star in a Netflix film. Titled iBoy, the trailer of the film is now out, and it looks awesome!
Netflix seems to be on a roll with its originals, with every next one being better and most successful than the last one. iBoy sound like an interesting addition to Netflix’s originals. The synopsis of the show reads as below :
“Tom is an average teenager whose world is turned on its head when a violent encounter with local thugs leaves fragments of his shattered smartphone embedded in his brain. He wakes from a coma to discover that returning to normal teenage life is impossible because he has developed a strange set of superpowers. With these new powers he sets out to seek revenge on the gang, who also assaulted his best friend Lucy.”
If that didn’t excite you enough, watch the trailer of the film, below (watch out for Maisie!) :
The protagonist, Tom is played by Bill Milner, while Maisie plays his best friend Lucy. Other cast members include Miranda Richardson and Rory Kinnear.
In the meantime, Maisie’s character in Game of Thrones, Arya, is being a total badass, having finally avenged the Red Wedding by slicing Walder Frey‘s throat at the end of Season 6. Season 7, we expect, will show her continuing on her quest to avenge her family, as she makes her way back home.
iBoy will release globally on Netflix on 27 January, 2017. Are you planning on watching it? Tell us in the comments, below!
