Over the past several decades, the bar for exceptional television programming has soared to new heights. Game of Thrones has played a significant role in elevating these standards even higher. The fantasy saga remains the most Emmy-awarded drama series to date. A recent survey ranked Game of Thrones as the second-greatest TV show of all time, reaffirming its enduring popularity.

Game of Thrones is the second-best show of all time, according to Pubity

As the competition among shows to catch viewers’ attention remains ever so high, fan opinions matter a lot. And there’s no better way to measure that than a public survey. One recently organized by Pubity combined audience and critics’ scores from various sites, and Breaking Bad emerged as the victor. Closely following was Game of Thrones at no. 2, followed by Chernobyl at 3.

The top 10 shows according to Pubity are:

  1. Breaking Bad
  2. Game of Thrones
  3. Chernobyl
  4. The Sopranos
  5. Band of Brothers
  6. The Wire
  7. Better Call Saul
  8. Stranger Things
  9. Sherlock
  10. Peaky Blinders

Game of Thrones is also the most binge-worthy show of all time

Game of Thrones has consistently proven itself to be one of the finest television series produced in the 21st century. This sentiment is echoed in audience polls; for instance, a Ranker list published last year saw over 1.5 million voters unanimously agree that Game of Thrones is the best of them all, despite a very controversial ending.
