Game of Thrones season 6 is the best according to showrunners
Game of thrones in its entirety is a show full of drama and surprises so effective that they keep fans hooked to their seats, speculating what will happen next. Besides, the showrunners (David Benioff and Dan Weiss) are really cautious while making any statements regarding the show so as to not raise the bar of fan’s expectations. But this time, when season 6 is just twenty days away, the showrunners gave us another reason to be very very excited about the show. Because, well, they themselves are. They not only believe season 6 to be most mysterious but they also believe that this season has zero weak points.
Recently, when David Benioff was asked for the most exciting part about season 6 after watching the final cuts of all episodes in season 6, he replied, “The whole season Dan and I talk about this a lot. This is not us trying to hype it. Usually there’s an episode or two we’re kind of nervous about, that didn’t turn out as well as we hoped. This season there is not a weak episode. We had great directors who knew what they were doing, paired with excellent [directors of photography]. We thought at the script stage it might be our strongest season. Then the episodes came in better than we hoped. We’re always reluctant to say it’s ‘the best season yet’ because so much of that is in the eyes of the beholder. And Dan and I are so close to it that it’s impossible to be unbiased. But that’s my sense – watching them all together now, this is the best one we’ve done. It’s also the one I’m proudest of, because it was the hardest.”
Fans have already speculated plethora of strategies and plot twists for season 6 and going by director’s words, it is going to be worth all the hype and the wait.

“Winter is Coming” and it’s truly and officially coming on April 14. But, ahead of Game of Thrones Season 8, Finland welcomes you to a spooky Game of Thrones-themed ice hotel – make sure you are well equipped with dragonglass!
Located in Finnish Lapland near Kittilä, this hotel has been opened up by Lapland Hotels Snowvillage in collaboration with HBO Nordic. This hotel was built in just five weeks and this year, all the suites of this hotel were designed by sculptors from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland.
Equipped with a total of 16 suites – each one with a different sculpture on its wall both cosy as well as a spooky sleep with a warmer temperature of 23 degrees as compared to outside where the average temperature is nearly 10 degrees.
A bunch of other images are down here like the first one which reveals an icy tunnel entrance to the main hall batched up a number of house banners from Westeros – Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tully, and others.
An icy feast table which will remind you of Cersei Lannister’s small council – make sure they serve you some good ale and the Hound’s f*cking chickens.
Next, are the skull of Balerion the Dread, which you probably saw in Season 7 under the Red Keep and a replica of the Sept of Baelor which sadly exists no more – all thanks to the Mad Queen Cersei Lannister!
The entry fee for the snow hotel is $20 and each suite will cost you around $550 and the entries will remain open through April 21, 2019. So, how many of you would like to visit this amazing Game of Thrones-themed ice hotel of Finland? Tell us in the comments.
Game of Thrones Season 8 is right around the corner with just less than 3 months left in it to air now that the month of January is almost over. And, it’s a confirmed thing that we are actually getting a full-length trailer of the final season of the series – all thanks to James Hibberd from Entertainment Weekly who has previously given us a lot of details about it. Talking about a full-length trailer, we’ve got you all another bigger update which suggests that each episode of the series is actually longer than or equal to 60 minutes. Read on.
Winter is almost upon us – literally, we’re facing the last of it yet, jokes apart, we now have lesser time to wait for it. And, the great news is that Orange Cinema – the French TV network which airs the series on television in France has revealed the episodes of the new season to be of feature-length which in their words are “XXL”.
Well, reading French for any of us will be a difficult thing which is why Winter is Coming broke it down for all of us – a special shoutout to them! What Premiere tweeted was that HBO has revealed to them that the first two episodes of the new season will be 60 minutes long each and the final four over 80 minutes – similar to the last episode ‘The Dragon and the Wolf’ from the seventh season.
We are totally sure that we will get an official announcement to confirm the same from HBO sooner or later. And, this is totally giving us vibes that we will have the best from Game of Thrones this time as the showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have promised us. Till then, let’s sail on the tide of speculations about each of the episodes if this news is actually to be believed!
