Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon was the most hyped show of 2022. So far it has checked out all the parameters that were placed before its premiere. One of them being the casting of actors for various roles, and just like its predecessor, House of The Dragon has managed to impress the audience in that field as well. Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), who was eagerly waiting to watch the prequel show, now wants to wait a bit more before he can binge-watch the series.

Why hasn’t Nikolaj Coster-Waldau watched House of The Dragon yet?

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Coster-Waldau explained, “I’ll wait. I’ll give it a couple of seasons, then I can binge-watch it and then there’s the whole thing. But I know that so many people love that show, and I’m really happy for them.”

What does Nikolaj Coster-Waldau think of House of The Dragon’s theme song?

Coster-Waldau admitted he did come across the opening theme of House of The Dragon, and he recalled feeling “a little strange” because it uses the same music as the original Game of Thrones.

“I was like, ‘Ah, this is too soon. Too soon,'” he said.

How many episodes will House of The Dragon Season 2 have?

The second season of House of The Dragon will reportedly be shorter than the previous one. According to a report by Deadline, the Game of Thrones prequel will have an 8-episode long Season 2, 2 episodes shorter than Season 1. An HBO spokesperson confirmed that the reason behind the shorter season was not because of a lack of budget, but rather a story-driven choice.
